红色年代的绿土——从沙石峪的梯田建设看生态治理

The “green land” in the “red” years:an analysis of the ecological improvement through building terraced field in the Shashiyu Village

河北遵化的沙石峪因其对自然环境的改造而闻名。作为当代中国改造自然的典型,沙石峪人通过艰苦劳动,开辟了梯田,发展了林果业,增加了农民收入。其事迹被作为“红色的叙事”流传,强调其“当代愚公”精神。但是在这样一个话语下,农民对改善生活的现实追求和在对自然进行大规模改造中的生态智慧却经常被忽视。以增加粮食产量和提高农民收入为目标的沙石峪,必然要尊重农民,尊重自然规律,重视绿色。

Shashiyu, a village in the Zunhua County,Hebei Province, has been well known for the villagers’ efforts to change their environment.The village had been established by the government as an example for making living conditions and environment better. They work hard to build terraced field and plant trees to increase their income. A story told by journalists about them has been described as a“red narrative”, in which both determination to win victory and courage to surmount every difficulty was emphasized. In the discourse,however, the peasants’ real pursuit for better living and their wisdom in the effort to transform nature in large scale have often been neglected. More yields and more income were their purposes, and it would be essential for the government to respect peasants’ interests,the laws of nature, and the green values.
