"Narrative economics"brings into the theoretical analysis framework of economics the"economic narrative"that the traditional mainstream economics does not pay attention to,and takes the"economic narrative"and the resulting psychological emotion as an important variable affecting economic behavior,so that some domestic scholars regard"narrative economics"as a significant contribution with pioneering significance. However, such a high evaluation can only be established within the theoretical paradigm of mainstream economics, that is,in essence, narrative economics can only be seen as the revision and improvement of the existing theoretical paradigm of mainstream economics, rather than its subversion and reconstruction. At the same time,if we base ourselves on the theoretical height and analytical perspective of Marx’s political economy,we will see Hiller’s view, that is,it is also untenable to regard the"economic narrative"as a psychological event, such as psychological panic,as the root cause of economic crisis or financial crisis.Of course,if we base ourselves on the market economy as the current economic reality and focus on the theoretical construction of socialist economics with Chinese characteristics,"narrative economics"indeed provides us with important theoretical enlightenment.
