Different literary techniques, such as euphemism, metaphor, humor and analogy are employed in TCM classics to elucidate its complex medical theories, through which a harmonious unity of objectivity and artistry of TCM language is achieved, thereby creating an easier access to readers’ comprehension and acceptance, manifesting the profound humanistic value and artistic features of TCM, and promoting the communication, inheritance and development of TCM culture.
