潮汕方言(话)词汇使用的年龄差异调查研究--以澄海区南砂乡为例

A Survey of Age Group Differences in Ability to Use Chaoshan Dialect Vocabulary--A Case Study in Nansha Village of Chenghai District

通过对澄海南砂乡村民潮汕话的词汇使用能力进行调查研究,发现村民的潮汕话词汇使用能力呈现出随着年龄的下降而下降的趋势,并且不同年龄组对词语的使用具有显著性的差异。一些具有潮汕方言地域特色的词语正逐渐被普通话说法所取代。潮汕话和普通话水平与潮汕话词汇使用能力之间存在显著的相关关系。调查数据显示,南砂乡19岁及以下的青少年学生的潮汕话本土方言词汇使用能力发生了较为严重的退化。

This paper conducts a field survey on the ability to use vocabulary of Chaoshan dialect the villagers in Nansha Village of Chenghai District.The study found that the villagers’ability to use vocabulary of Chaoshan dialect revealed a downward trend with age.And there are significant differences of the dialect vocabulary use by different age groups.Some words with regional characteristics of Chaoshan are gradually being converted into dialectal phonological forms corresponding to Mandarin.The relationships between the levels of Chaoshan dialect and Mandarin and the ability to use vocabulary of Chaoshan dialectology have remarkable correlation.The survey data shows that a more serious degradation in the ability to use the vocabulary of the native dialect of Chaoshan occurs among adolescent students in the group under 19 years old in Nansha Township.
