摘要
近年来,数十个主要经济体都宣布了“零碳”目标,中国政府也于2020年正式承诺2060年实现碳中和。5G移动通信在其间承担着关键角色:一方面助力千行百业实现“绿色智慧”转型,另一方面5G网络也在持续追求更低的能耗。考虑到无线基站占整个无线蜂窝网络能耗的57%,因此实现“绿色”5G关键就在于减少5G基站的能耗。在研究基站节能技术的基础上,提出了基于“覆盖模型”“负荷模型”“能耗模型”和“体验模型”的5G基站智能节能解决方案,帮助运营商实现5G基站能耗和5G用户体验的最佳平衡。
Recent years,tens of major economies have announced net-zero greenhouse gas emission target.In 2020,the government of China had promised to be carbon-neutral in 2060.As a key role,5G mobile communication could help thousands of industries to become green and smart,and keeps reducing its own power consumption.Considering that 57%of mobile communication's energy is consumed by the base stations,reducing the energy consumption of base station is the key to building a"green"5G network.Based on the study of power saving technologies for base station,it proposes the smart power saving solution with modelling of coverage,cell load,energy consumption and user experience.With this solution,the operator could achieve the optimal balance between energy consumption of 5G base stations and 5G user experience.
