System Innovation in China's Diplomatic Layout in the New Era

随着中国特色社会主义进入新时代,中国的综合国力不断增强,国际影响力、感召力、塑造力进一步提高;中国日益走近世界舞台中央,为世界和平与发展做出更大贡献。新时代的中国外交应该以习近平外交思想为指导,对标建成社会主义现代化强国、实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的历史定位,在中国特色大国外交的基础上,进一步构筑总体外交布局,科学厘定各大领域外交总体布局中的地位功能、比重结构,增设人文公共外交板块,拓展新的外交领域,优化现有外交布局体系,形成“周边为先,大国为要,发展中国家为本,多边为翼,人文为桥”的总体新型外交布局体系。

As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,China's comprehensive national strength has been continuously enhanced,and its international influence,inspirational motivation,and shaping power have been further improved;China is increasingly approaching the center of the world stage,and making greater contributions to world peace and development.China's diplomacy in the new era is supposed to be guided by thoughts of Xi Jinping on diplomacy,the benchmark in the context of the historical orientation of building a powerful modern socialist country and realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.On the basis of major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics,it is necessary to further construct the overall diplomatic layout,scientifically determine the status,function and weight structure of the overall diplomatic layout in various fields,add a humanities and public diplomacy section,expand new diplomatic fields,and optimize the existing diplomatic layout system,to form a new overall diplomatic layout system of“peripheries first,major powers as the priority,developing countries as the foundation,multilateral relationship as the wings,and humanities as the bridge”.
