It is discussed the energy transition in various countries and the impact on energy enterprises and world oil and gas pattern in green development of the whole economy.It is emphasized that natural gas,as a low-carbon energy,will play an irreplaceable and important role in the energy transition,and the integrated development of natural gas and new energy can present different patterns in different regions.It is thoroughly analyzed the development prospects and paths of the“three steps”of clean replacement,strategic replacement and green transition proposed by CNPC.The World Petroleum Council(WPC)is also planning a strategic transition,which the business will shift from oil and gas to the whole energy.It will continue to play an important role in international energy governance.
