The Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party’s Centennial Struggle applies historical materialism and deeply reveals the origin and trend of the Communist Party of China,by taking the correct view of party history as the guiding principle,the attitude of "seeking truth from facts" as the ideological method,the process investigation and overall evaluation of the party’s hundred year struggle history as the logical way,and the establishment and highlighting of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the foothold and focus.It can be seen that the thinking path of studying and writing party history according to historical materialism lies in the grasping of the three related elements of historical materialism,namely historical objectivity,historical regularity and historical initiative.
