从寄生到共生--建构一种建筑学与研究型大学新型关系的理论叙述 被引量:13

From Parasitism to Mutualism Building up a Theoretical Narration on the New Relationship between Architectural Discipline and Research University

摘要 当代研究型大学中的建筑学正面临严峻挑战,一方面建筑学的边界不断外延,另一方面却未能守护建筑学的核心价值,即设计教育。通过了解建筑教育的历史以及现代研究型大学的本质特点,描述建筑学与研究型大学4种可能的关系,即寄生、同化、脱离和共生。基于对建筑学这个学术社会在学问方式和设计师资独特性的理解,提出共生作为未来建筑学的发展图景,即通过学术研究发展建筑学的本体,同时建筑学以其设计教育的优势对大学的学术社会做出独特贡献。 Architectural discipline is facing a severe challenge in today’s research university.On the one hand its boundary is continuously expanding,on the other hand it has failed to maintain its core value that is design education.Through reviewing the history of architectural education and the essential characteristics of modern research university,four types of relationship between architectural discipline and research university can be identified:parasitism,assimilation,separation and mutualism.Based up an understanding of the nature of architecture as an academic society and the uniqueness of design faculty,a prospect of mutualism is proposed that the core value of architectural discipline could be maintained through academic research while it also can make unique contribution to research university with its strength in design education.
