With the continuous development of social economy and urbanization in China,modern surveying and mapping methods are gradually applied in various fields of urban construction.This paper explains the definition of urban planning surveying and mapping and digital city,and explores the application value and specific application measures of urban planning surveying and mapping in digital city construction.
