从神经系统疾病角度探讨晋唐“脚弱病”

Discussion on"Jiaoruo disease"in Jin and Tang Dynasties in the Perspective of Nervous System Diseases

从现代医学视角出发,对晋唐文献中的“脚弱病”和“脚气病”进行辨析与解构,指出“脚弱病”与“脚气病”在概念上既有联系,又有区别。其中“脚气病”主要表现为下肢水肿和呼吸困难,而“脚弱病”则更倾向是一种以肢体运动障碍及感觉障碍为特征性表现的疾病。且从“脚弱病”所表现出的屈弱不能行、缓纵不遂、膝至脚不仁、少腹不仁、气上肩息等主要证候,以及起病隐匿,发病一周前可能存在发热病史等特点来看,“脚弱病”与现代医学中的吉兰-巴雷综合征、脊髓炎、多发性硬化等多种神经系统疾病存在较强的关联。

From the perspective of modern medicine,this paper discriminated and deconstructed the"Jiaoruo Disease"and"Jiaoqi Disease"in the documents of Jin and Tang Dynasties,and pointed out that"Jiaoruo Disease"and"Jiaoqi Disease"were conceptually related and different."Jiaoqi Disease"was characterized by lower limb edema and dyspnea,while"Jiaoruo Disease"was more characterized by dyskinesia and sensory disorder.Moreover,from the main symptoms of"Jiaoruo Disease",such as inability to bend,slow longitudinal failure,knee to foot inhospitality,lack of stomach inhospitality,and shoulder rest,as well as the hidden onset,and the possible history of fever a week before the onset of the disease,it could be seen that"Jiaoruo Disease"was strongly associated with a variety of nervous system diseases in modern medicine,such as Guillain Barre syndrome,myelitis,multiple sclerosis and so on.
