聂华苓文学年表

A Chronology of Literature:Hualing Nieh Engle

聂华苓:作家。1948年毕业于中央大学外文系,《自由中国》杂志文艺栏编辑,美国爱荷华大学“国际写作计划”创办人,诺贝尔和平奖候选人。1925年1月11日,聂华苓出生于湖北武汉。1927年本年,弟弟聂汉仲出生。1929年本年,从俄租界搬到日租界大和街。入汉口市立六小。1930年本年,武汉事变后,桂系被国民党击溃,为躲避国民党特务抓捕,聂华苓一家避往上海。1931年本年,随父母避难北平。1932年本年,弟弟聂季阳出生。1933年本年,妹妹聂华蓉出生。

Hualing Nieh Engle,a writer,who graduated from the Foreign Languages Department,Taiwan Central University,worked as an editor in the arts section at Free China,was a director of the International Writing Program(IWP)at the University of Iowa in the USA and she is a candidate for Nobel Peace Prize.
