LI Zi-Ping’s Experience in the Treatment of Ankylosing Spondylitis Based on the“Homogeny of Liver and Kidney”Theory of School of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Mutual Synergizing in Lingnan Area

强直性脊柱炎是一种慢性进行性自身免疫性疾病,致畸、致残率较高。在本病的治疗上,李滋平教授以“肝肾同源”理论为切入点,明辨病机病位,以通为用,肝肾并重,融合针药相须流派经验,将多种中医特色治疗方式有机结合,主以针刺通经,汤药培元通络,配合艾灸通阳祛湿,穴位注射标本兼治,独取大椎放血去陈生新,穴位敷贴巩固疗效,形成一套有效的治疗方式。

Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic progressive autoimmune disease with a high rate of deformity and disability.In the treatment of this disease,professor LI Zi-Ping applied the theory of“Homogeny of Liver and Kidney”theory as the starting point,identified the pathogenesis and the disease location,emphasizes the theory of“six fu-organs functioning well when unobstructed”,placed equal emphasis on liver and kidney,mutual synergizing the experience of the school of acupuncture and Chinese medicine,and organically combines a variety of using Chinese medicine treatment modalities,mainly using acupuncture to unblock the meridians,using Chinese herbal decoction to cultivate the vital essence and to unblock collaterals,together with moxibustion to activate yang and remove dampness,applying acupuncture injections to treat symptom and root cause simultaneously,while selecting Dazhui(GV14)acupoint of bloodletting to remove stasis and promote regeneration,moreover,the acupoint application is applied to consolidate the therapeutic effect,thus creating a set of effective treatment modalities.
