政治话语的媒介化:基于Lancs Box的“中国梦”媒体话语建构分析

Mediatization of political discourse:A LancsBox-based analysis of the media discursive construction of“Chinese Dream”

“中国梦”是新时代中国的主流话语。本文选取三家具有代表性的环球媒体即《中国日报》《南华早报》和《纽约时报》为研究对象,采用新一代语料库分析工具LancsBox并融合话语-历史方法与框架分析考察“中国梦”的媒体话语建构,揭示政治话语媒介化的话语模式、新闻框架及意识形态。分析发现:《中国日报》遵循“以中国为中心”的叙事模式,积极正面地塑造“中国梦”,同时回应西方的质疑;《南华早报》采用多元平衡的叙事模式,试图从多角度建构“中国梦”的多元语义;《纽约时报》反映了“以美国为中心”的叙事模式,虽然对“中国梦”有积极的话语表征,但在意识形态上持质疑的态度。媒体通过特定的语言修辞、话语策略与框架选择建构现实并引导受众对某一事件、话语或概念的认知,其所处的社会文化环境对话语建构有着深刻地影响。

The“Chinese Dream”is China’s mainstream discourse in this new era.This paper chooses three representative global media(i.e.China Daily,South China Morning Post and The New York Times)to analyze their mediatized discursive representations of“Chinese Dream”by using a methodological combination that integrates the Discourse-historical Approach(DHA),corpus-assisted analysis(using a new-generation corpus tool,LancsBox)and framing analysis.This paper aims to reveal the discursive patterns,news framing and underlying ideologies of“Chinese Dream”in the three media.The findings suggest that China Daily adhered to a“China-centric”pattern and positively shaped the“Chinese Dream”,while it also presented some criticisms from the West;South China Morning Post adopted a multi-balanced reporting orientation and holistically presented“Chinese Dream”from multiple perspectives;The New York Times adopted an“America-centric”orientation that essentially questioned this China’s national discourse,though there were some positive lexical descriptions.In short,media can construct realities by rhetoric,discourse strategies,news frames and influence reader’s perception about specific social events,discourse objects and notions;the mediatized representations of“Chinese Dream”reflect media’s deep-layered ideological stances and sociocultural environments in where they are based.
