Content Structure Design of Century-long Journey in Jiangsu,a Historical Atlas of the CPC

《百年征程奋进江苏》是一部党史专题地图集,该图集以时间为主线设计了“初心”“求索”“春潮”“锦程”4个图组用来叙述不同时期的江苏党史,以“强”“富”“美”“高”子图组分类展示新江苏建设成果,最后的“红色记忆”图组以13个地级市为单元直观呈现江苏红色遗迹的分布。用专题地图重温党在江苏革命、建设、改革发展的百年奋斗历程,全面展现党领导江苏人民取得的辉煌成就。探讨了党史专题地图集内容结构设计的一般原则,并以《百年征程红色江苏》地图集为例,介绍了地图集的图组设计,着重介绍了表现事件人物或建设成就为主的内容选题设计,以期为同类地图集的编制提供参考。

Century-long Journey in Jiangsu is a thematic atlas of the history of the CPC,which introduces the history of the party in Jiangsu in different periods in chronological order in its first four chapters,divides the forth chapter into four parts to show the construction achievements of Jiangsu in various aspects by subject classification,and visually presents the distribution of red relics in 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu in its last chapter.Thematic maps are used to review the course of the century-long struggle of revolution,construction,reform and development of the CPC in Jiangsu,and fully show the brilliant achievements in Jiangsu under the leadership of the CPC.This thesis discusses the general principles of the content structure design of thematic atlas of the history of the CPC,and introduces the design of series maps and choice of content when focus on the presentation of events,figures or construction achievements with the example of Century-long Journey in Jiangsu,in order to provide reference for the compilation of similar atlas.
