一“素”千彩:儒道“素”之哲学内涵与异域阐释

A Blaze of Colors from“Su(plain)”:The Philosophical Connotation and Interpretation of“Su”(素)in Confucianism and Taoism

先秦,“素”与“仁”“道”的语义内涵互为关联,共同构建儒、道等学派的哲学思想。然而,“素”的哲学内涵,尤其是其异域阐释一直未得到足够重视,不利于中国传统文化的全面对外传播。以儒、道两家关于“素”的言论为起点,解析“素”的多层面哲学内涵,审度“素”在异域翻译文本中的恰适性阐释,对中国文化对外传播具有重要意义。

As one of the key words of pre-Qin philosophy,“Su”(素)is associated semantically and closely with the connotations of“Ren”(仁)and“Dao”(道),which jointly construct the philosophical thoughts of Confucianism and Taoism.However,the philosophical connotation and foreign interpretation of“Su”(素)have not received much attention so far,which on some scale hinders the dissemination of the essence of Traditional Chinese culture.Starting from the remarks of Confucianism and Taoism on“Su”(素),this paper analyzes the multi-level philosophical connotations of“Su”(素),examines the appropriateness of the translation of“Su”(素)in foreign texts,and makes efforts to effectively spread Chinese culture to the world.
