Key Technologies for Hole Planting With Organic Substrate of Honeydew Melon in Gobi Desert of Jiuquan

戈壁蜜瓜有机基质穴播栽培技术是在地势相对平坦、有充足水源保证的戈壁荒漠区通过在种植穴填充有机基质、覆盖地膜、利用水肥一体化等技术种植蜜瓜的一种方法。该技术可有效利用戈壁资源,克服蜜瓜土壤栽培连作障碍,提高蜜瓜品质和效益,具有较好的经济和生态效益。该研究从种植区域选择、有机基质配制、开挖种植穴、田间管理、病虫害防治、采收等方面介绍该栽培技术,可为酒泉戈壁蜜瓜生产的标准化、规范化提供参考依据。

The hole planting technique in organic substrate of honeydew melon in gobi area was a method by digging planting holes, filling organic substrate, covering plastic film and using integration of water and fertilizer to plant honeydew melon in the gobi desert area of relatively flat terrain and water source sufficience.The method could make good use of gobi resources effectively,overcome the obstacles of continuous cropping in soil cultivation of honeydew melon,improve the quality of honeydew melon with good economical and ecological benefits.The cultivation technique was introduced in details from planting area selection,organic substrate preparation,digging the planting holes,field management,diseases and insect prevention,harvesting and so on,which could provide reference for the standardization of gobi honeydew melon production in Jiuquan.
