Global Energy Transition Trends and Strategic Choice of Energy Companies

在全球能源转型的大背景下,可再生能源及天然气等低碳能源的发展将成为未来能源发展的主流。能源转型发展将逐步展现出低碳化、多元化、全球化、数字化和分散化的“五化”特征。通过调研发现,大型国际化石油公司大都做出了自己的战略选择,主要体现在石油到天然气、常规到非常规、石油公司到能源公司、石油公司到可再生能源公司、能源业务到非能源业务的转变。建议中国石油公司根据能源转型的趋势和自身特点,借鉴国际石油公司的先进模式和经验,积极谋划,主动出击,制定本公司的能源转型战略,并通过绿色低碳技术和数字化技术的研发和应用,提升公司的国际竞争力,打造世界领先洁净能源化工公司。

Under the background of global energy transition,the development of low-carbon energy such as renewable energy and natural gas will be the main trend of future energy development.Energy transition development will gradually show five characteristics of decarbonization,diversification,globalization,digitization and decentralization.Through investigation,it is found that most of large-scale international petroleum companies have made their strategic choice,mainly reflecting in the transitions of petroleum to natural gas,conventional to unconventional,petroleum company to renewable energy company and energy business to non-energy business.It is suggested that,in the light of energy transition trends and their own characteristics,Chinese petroleum companies should draw lessons from advanced mode and experience of the international petroleum companies,make active and aggressive plans to formulate their energy transition strategy.And through R&D and application of green and low-carbon technology and digital technology,Chinese petroleum companies should improve international competitiveness to build world-leading clean energy and chemical companies.
