Institutional distance,geographical distance,regional innovation spillover and economic growth

利用2006~2019年中国31省市面板数据,基于动态空间杜宾模型,研究制度距离、地理距离影响区域创新溢出的经济效应。研究发现:①在制度距离矩阵下,区域创新具有负向空间溢出效应,即抑制制度距离相近地区经济增长;②在地理距离矩阵下,区域创新具有正向空间溢出效应,即促进地理距离相近地区经济增长。

Based on the dynamic spatial Dubin model,this paper uses panel data from 31 provinces and cities in China from 2006 to 2019 to study the economic effects of institutional distance and geographical distance affecting regional innovation spillover.The results show that:(1)Under the institutional distance matrix,regional innovation has a negative spatial spillover effect,that is,inhibiting the economic growth of regions with similar institutional distances;(2)Under the geographical distance matrix,regional innovation has a positive spatial spillover effect,that is,promoting economic growth in regions with similar geographical distances.
