Role and potential of stem cells and their source exosomes in promoting repair of facial nerve injury

面神经损伤是临床诊疗中常见的疾病,现有的治疗方式存在一定的局限性。近年来有研究表明,干细胞及其来源外泌体对面神经损伤后的修复起到促进作用,成为近些年的研究热点。本文主要综述干细胞及其来源外泌体促进面神经损伤修复的研究进展,为临床治疗面神经损伤提供一定的启示。

Facial nerve injury is a common disorder in clinical practice and there are limitations in the existing treatment modalities.In recent years,the studies have shown that stem cells and their source exosomes can play a promoting role in repair after facial nerve injury.Therefore,the therapy of stem cells and their source exosomes in facial nerve injury has become a hot topic of research in recent years.This article mainly reviews the research progress of stem cells and their source exosomes in promoting repair of facial nerve injury to provides some enlightenment for clinical treatment of facial nerve injury.
