This article summarizes a series of exploration on the cultivation of excellent talents in Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine based on the training law of traditional Chinese medicine talents and the characteristics of various specialties under the guiding spirit of national excellent talents training.From the perspective of five elements of traditional Chinese medicine and five types of talent cultivation.This article discusses how to carry out excellent education on the basis of universal education in colleges and universities.Different ways are adopted for the excellent training of different types of talents,reflecting the characteristics of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,which provides ideas and effective suggestions for the reform of higher education of Chinese medicine in the new era.
