摘要
在冷战的阴影下,如何提高中国文学的能见度,又不落入东方主义的言说范式,成为一代学人苦心思考的问题。柳无忌通过强调“中国”作为风格、“文学”作为涌现,成功规避了冷战话语,并介入“全球60年代”的革命浪潮之中。《中国文学概论》以强调民间和日常生活的方式,与彼时的青年反叛运动同步,同时又以突显传统、表彰经典的方式,隐秘地与离经叛道的革命潮流拉开距离。柳无忌对于文学史的思考,既得益于时势的塑造,也有学术上的渊源,从胡适到郑振铎以至南社,影响历历可见。
Under the shadow of the Cold War,how to improve the visibility of Chinese literature without falling into the Orientalism discourse has become a problem. By emphasizing China as a style and literature as manifestation,Liu Wu-chi successfully avoided binary discourse,and meanwhile intervened in the revolutionary wave of“Global 1960s”. An Introduction to Chinese Literature was synchronized with the youth rebel movement through emphasizing folk and everyday life. On the other hand,it secretly distanced itself from the revolutionary trend in the way of highlighting tradition and honoring canons. Liu Wu-chi’s thoughts on literary history benefited not only from the situation,but also from academic origins,such as Hu Shi,Zheng Zhenduo and the South Society.
