The red culture with revolutionary spirit and strong history not only shows the excellent character of unremitting self-improvement,but also shows the spiritual source and wealth of carrying out ideological and political education in colleges and universities.With the red culture as the guidance,we should do a good job of ideological and political work of college students,raise students’patriotic feelings,and promote the construction and development of the cause of the motherland with indomitable faith.This paper mainly expounds the red culture leading universities to do good ideological and political work,analyzes the current existing problems,further explores the effective path of ideological and political education in universities and promotes the development of red culture in ideological and political education,in order to promote the development of teaching effectiveness to a higher level.
