猫多囊肾病是多种猫常见的常染色体遗传病,呈现较高发病率和致死率。最重要的临床表现是慢性衰竭,在肾脏皮质及髓质中出现大量充满液体的囊肿,也可引起细菌性感染,并造成严重的并发症引起死亡。本病是由多囊肾疾病基因PKD1外显子突变导致,可以通过影像学检查进行诊断,最终确诊需要依靠基因检测。目前针对本病缺乏有效的诊疗方法,可以通过繁殖育种和合理的饲养管理预防和规避。

Feline polycystic kidney disease is a common autosomal inherited disease in cats,with a high prevalence and mortality.The most important clinical manifestation is chronic failure,a large number of fluidfilled cysts in the renal cortex and medulla,as well as bacterial infection,which can lead to death due to serious complications.Feline polycystic kidney disease results from the exon mutation of the polycystic kidney disease gene PKD1.The disease can be diagnosed by imaging examination and the final diagnosis depends on genetic testing.So far,there is no effective method of treatment and it can be prevented and avoided through reasonable reproduction breeding and management.
