基于符号学视角下的西兰卡普生殖崇拜纹样

Xilankapu’s Reproductive Worship Patterns from the Perspective of Semiotics

西兰卡普是一种土家族特有的传统手工织锦布,其凝聚了土家族人的生存智慧。以西兰卡普生殖崇拜纹样的实物资料和文献资料为基础,从符号学角度对西兰卡普生殖崇拜纹样进行解读,归纳和总结其造型手法和色彩特征,并分析影响西兰卡普生殖崇拜符号产生的因素。研究认为:西兰卡普生殖崇拜纹样造型抽象、色彩多而不乱,其产生受到多神崇拜、民俗活动、文化涵化和生命意识等方面的影响,承载了土家族人的精神内核。此外,其符号语义具有生殖符号指向关系的复杂性和生殖符号视觉内容的象征性,此特征反映了土家族人的精神需求和审美特质。

Xilankapu is a unique traditional hand-made brocade cloth of Tujia nationality,which embodies the survival wisdom of Tujia people.Based on the material data and literature,this paper interprets xilankapu’s reproductive worship patterns from the perspective of semiotics,sums up its modelling techniques and color characteristics,and analyzes the factors that influence the symbols of xilankapu’s reproductive worship.The research shows that the reproductive worship patterns of xilankapu are abstract and colorful but not disorderly,which are influenced by polytheism,folk activities,cultural acculturation and life consciousness,and carry the spiritual core of Tujia people.In addition,the symbolic semantic features of the patterns has the complexity of the directional relationship of reproductive symbols and the symbolism of the visual content of reproductive symbols,which reflects the spiritual needs and aesthetic characteristics of Tujia people.
