Wenzhou University has set up an undergraduate major called Creative Chinese.Creative Chinese advocates the use of creative writing to promote the integration and reengineering of Chinese language and Literature courses.Creative Chinese focuses on practice-centered and tradition-compatible courses to help students transform their literary literacy into cultural and creative productivity.The creative Chinese major of Wenzhou University emphasizes creative writing as a basic skill for normal university students,as well as a basis for general education and basic cultural and creative ability by establishing an interdisciplinary faculty team,recruiting graduate students in creative writing,and strengthening cooperation among academic platforms.Creative Chinese advocates the use of creative writing to activate students’practical abilities and cultivate original talents to adapt to the development of the digital age by reorganizing and designing the curriculum of the Chinese department.
