Job Stability and Urban Psychological Integration of Migrant Workers

基于2017年中国流动人口动态监测调查(CMDS)数据,本文考察了工作稳定性对农民工城市心理融入的影响。基本回归结果显示,进城农民工的工作稳定性越高,其城市心理融入感越强。在考虑内生性问题及使用不同指标衡量工作稳定性和心理融入后,该结论仍成立。并且,本文通过进一步的机制分析发现,工作稳定性主要通过提高农民工的社会参与程度和促进农民工获取公共健康服务,增进其城市心理融入。

Based on data from the China Migration Dynamic Monitoring Survey(CMDS)2017,this paper examines the effect of job stability on migrant workers'urban psychological integration.The results show that migrant workers with more stable jobs in cities have a stronger sense of urban psychological integration.Further mediation analyses suggest that job stability contributes to migrant workers'urban psychological integration mainly by increasing their social participation and improving their access to public health services.
