Improved SIFT Algorithm for Image Matching

摘要 针对SIFT(Scale-Invarivant Feature Transform)算法存在的不足,提出Harris算法与SIFT算法相结合的方法。选用Harris算法检测出的角点邻域范围内的SIFT特征点作为特征点,利用高斯圆形窗口对特征点建立64维描述向量。实验证明,该算法在保证匹配精度的同时,有效提高了匹配速度。 In order to overcome the shortcomings of SIFT(Scale-Invarivant Feature Transform)algorithm,a method which combines Harris algorithm with SIFT algorithm is put forward.SIFT feature points within the corner neighborhood range detected by Harris algorithm are used as feature points.Goss circular window is used to establish a 64-dimension description vector for feature points.The experiment result shows that this algorithm can improve the matching accuracy and the matching speed.
