Effects of hypoallergenic prescription diet containing psoralea on health and disease in dogs

[目的]探讨富含补骨脂提取物的低敏处方粮对比格犬皮肤健康的作用。[方法]使用二硝基氯苯致敏诱导比格犬特应性皮炎模型,模型建成后采用自主研发的犬低敏处方粮持续喂养4周,正常犬粮饲喂动物作为模型组;通过炎症反应、瘙痒程度评分、血液学检查、病理评价及炎症因子表达,评价处方粮对犬皮肤健康及瘙痒的修复作用。[结果]与模型组相比,处方粮饮食4周后,犬皮炎病变程度以及皮肤瘙痒程度显著减轻。H&E染色显示,处方粮喂养4周后改善皮肤炎症反应,具体表现为皮肤角化层减少,表皮层增厚减轻,真皮层炎症细胞浸润减少。分子层面检测发现,处方粮喂养4周后降低了皮炎模型中的炎症基因的表达。[结论]富含补骨脂提取物的低敏处方粮能够改善犬皮炎症状,降低皮肤敏感性。

[Objectives]To investigate the effect of hypoallergenic prescription diet containing additives of psoralea on the atopic dermatitis in Beagle dogs.[Methods]Dinitrochlorobenzene(DNCB)reagent was used to induce atopic dermatitis model in the Beagle dog.After the model was established,the self-devel-oped hypoallergenic prescription diet was used for continuous feeding for 4 weeks,and the animals were fed with normal dog food as the model group.Then the dermatitis inflammatory response and the degree of pruritus were evaluated and scored,and the hematological examination,pathological evaluation and in-flammatory factor expression,the repairing effect of prescription food on skin health and itching in dogs was evaluated..[Results]Compared with the model group,after 4 weeks of hypoallergenic prescription di-et,the degree of canine dermatitis lesions and skin itching were significantly reduced.H&E staining showed that the inflammatory response of the skin was improved after 4 weeks of feeding with the pre-scription diet,which was manifested in the reduction of the keratinized layer of the skin,the reduction in the thickening of the epidermis,and the reduction in the infiltration of inflammatory cells in the der-mis.The molecular level analysis showed that the expression of inflammatory genes in dermatitis model were significantly reduced by prescription diet for 4 weeks of feeding.[Conclusions]Hypoallergenic pre-scription diet containing psoralen can improve the symptoms of canine dermatitis and reduce the sensitiv-ity of skin.
