地方财政支出对皖江城市带城乡收入差距的影响

The Influence of Local Financial Expenditure on the Income Gap Between Urban and Rural Areas in Wanjiang City Belt

选取2008-2020年皖江城市带城市的数据,建立系统GMM模型实证分析地方财政支出总量和支出结构对皖江城市带城乡收入差距的影响,得出基本结论:财政支出规模的增加能够有效缩小城乡收入差距,说明合理安排财政资金可以调节城乡居民收入不平等;不同的支出项目对城乡收入差距的影响有所不同。增加科学技术支出和投资性支出可以缩小城乡收入差距,而增加教育支出和社会保障与就业支出会扩大城乡收入差距;替换被解释变量后,核心解释变量的回归结果仍然稳健。基于研究结论提出加大农村地区的教育投入,继续增加科学技术支出与投资性支出以及完善社会保障体系的政策建议。

This paper selects the data of cities in the Wanjiang City Belt from 2008 to 2020, and establishes a systematic GMM model to empirically analyze the impact of the total amount and expenditure structure of local fiscal expenditures on the urban-rural income gap in the Wanjiang City Belt, and draws basic conclusions: the increase in the scale of fiscal expenditure can effectively narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas, indicating that reasonable arrangement of financial funds can adjust the income inequality between urban and rural residents.Different expenditure items have different impacts on the urban-rural income gap.Increasing scientific and technological expenditure and investment expenditure can narrow the urban-rural income gap, while increasing education expenditure and social security and employment expenditure will widen the urban-rural income gap.After replacing the explained variables, the regression results of the core explanatory variables are still robust. Based on the research conclusions, it puts forward policy suggestions such as increasing education investment in rural areas, continuing to increase scientific and technological expenditures and investment expenditures, and improving the social security system.
