On Writing of Literati in the Official History of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties

魏晋南北朝文学与史学具有相互影响的微妙关系,主要表现为“以文入史”和“以史载文”。以正史为例,史书不仅为文人立传,描述传主的文学才能,还载录其文学作品和相关的文学活动。史书对文人的书写,既加强了社会对文学的重视,也进一步明晰了文学的特征,促进了文学的独立。

The literature and historiography of the Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties have a subtle relationship of mutual influence,which is mainly manifested as“introducing literature into history”and“involving literature in history”.Taking official history as an example,history books not only create biographies for literati and describe the literary talents of the masters,but also record their literary works and related literary activities.The writing of literati in history books not only strengthens the society’s emphasis on literature,but also further clarifies the characteristics of literature and promotes the independence of literature.
