摘要
20世纪以来,伴随与日俱增的西方文化危机意识,以道家哲学为代表的东方思想引起西方学界的广泛关注。西方学者在“发现东方”的过程中,看到了克服危机的可能性和希望,积极探寻解决现代性危机的替代性方案,由此形成了“东方转向”的文化思想潮流。作为西方现代建筑艺术美学的开拓者,赖特深受老子及其道家哲学思想的影响,构建其独具特色的有机建筑论,成为“东风西渐”的重要文化事件和典型范例。勘察与回溯“老子与赖特”之间的跨时空文化交流互鉴,对于拓展跨文化艺术史的研究视野,将具有特殊的学术意义和当代价值。
Since the beginning of the 20^(th)century,along with the increasing consciousness of the Western cultural crisis,oriental thought,which is represented by Taoist philosophy,has aroused widespread concern in the Western academic circle.In the process of “discovering the East”,Western scholars saw the possibility and hope of overcoming the crisis so that they actively explored alternative solutions to the crisis of modernity.Therefore a cultural and ideological trend of “oriental turn” was formed.As a pioneer of Western modern architectural aesthetics,Wright was deeply influenced by Laozi and his Taoist philosophy,and he constructed his own unique Organic Architecture theory,which has become an important cultural event and typical example of “the West learning from the East”.Researching and reviewing the cultural exchanges and learning between Laozi and Wright will have special academic significance and contemporary value for expanding the research perspective of cross-cultural art history.
