摘要
目前,中国文化英语慕课的教学对象以高校学生为主,意在让学生掌握如何用英语表达中国文化,讲好中国故事。本研究选择了3门慕课的片段,12名英语专业、翻译专业和教育技术专业的学生学习这些片段后,面对5名留学生完成“中国文化”主题演讲。本研究通过全过程直播和回放,分析了中国文化英语慕课在高校学生开展国际传播时的作用,同时提出了学生用好慕课、讲述“中国故事”时值得斟酌的适切性问题。
At present,college students are the main targets of English MOOCs in the transmission of Chinese culture.They are expected to do justice,in English,to Chinese culture and to present compelling China stories.This research makes use of three MOOCs,among which,one is identified by the Ministry of Education as a course of national-level quality,and one is provincial-level.12 university students,namely,English majors,translation majors and educational technology majors,watched the clips and made speeches on the topic of “A story about China” to an audience of 5 international students.Data analysis is based on the playback of a live webcast,indicating the role of English MOOCs in transmitting Chinese culture in the context of international communication.Meanwhile,the analysis raises the issue of relevance,namely the extent to which MOOCs is applicable to presenting China stories.
