张缙教授对于“九六补泻”以及“天地人三部行针”的研究是与“烧山火”“透天凉”手法相联系的,“烧山火”“透天凉”中蕴含着一套完整的量化思维模式。“九六”强调的是提插捻转的力度而不是数值,比如“烧山火”是取热之法,《易经》里九为数之极,为最大,用在“烧山火”手法就要用大力量重插、重捻。“透天凉”有取凉之意,六表示行针时用力要轻,要轻提、轻捻。“天人地三部行针”“一进三退”是对针刺腧穴从皮肤浅层逐步深入过程的描述,但实际操作并不严格按照皮、肉、筋骨不同组织进行分层,“三进一退”“一进三退”强调顺序上的区别。
