摘要
本文通过分析目前高中英语阅读教学中文化意识培养存在的问题,以新人教版必修一Unit 5 Reading and Thinking板块的阅读文章“The Chinese Writing System:Connecting the Past and the Present”为例,把理解性技能“读”和表达性技能“说”的训练有机结合起来,探讨如何利用以读促说的阅读教学活动来提升学生的语言能力,从而培养文化意识。
By analyzing the problems that currently exist in English reading teaching in senior high schools,the article uses the teaching practice of Reading and Thinking Section in“The Chinese Writing System:Connecting the Past and the Present”in Book 1 as an example,which organically integrates the comprehension skill of“reading”and the presentation skill of“speaking”,to explore how to utilize Read-to-Speak activities in English reading class to improve students’English language competence and cultivate their cultural awareness.
