Discussion on the Influence of the Metaverse on the Insurance Industry

本文对元宇宙带给保险业的影响进行探讨,针对元宇宙带给保险业的新机遇和新挑战,提出了保险业应加快数字化转型发展,进行自我改造升级,聚焦元宇宙发展链条开拓保险业务新空间,推进趋于元化的工作政策,加强对元宇宙技术的研究和应用,面向元宇宙更好地发挥相关险种的作用,全方位强化元宇宙风险防范等建议。

This paper discusses the influence of Metaverse on the insurance industry. In view of the new opportunities and challenges that Metaverse brings to the insurance industry, the following suggestions are proposed for insurance industry: accelerating the development of the digital transformation and upgrade itself;focusing on the chains of Metaverse to develop new areas of insurance business;promoting the work policies of Metaverse, strengthening the research and application of Metaverse technology, better playing the role of corresponding insurance for Metaverse, and enhancing the overall risk control of Metaverse.
