李丽霞认为,中风后肩手综合征是由于气血亏虚、痰湿内蕴而致的筋脉阻滞。治法应为祛湿化痰,补益气血。醒脑启阖调枢法具有取诸阳之会百会,重视阳经,重视特定穴等特点,可温阳利水。其中醒脑-重视阳脉之海督脉,启阖-调阳明之气,调枢-疏利少阳枢机,首醒神开窍,调畅一身气机运行,水湿气化得利则消肿。岭南火针疗法“火郁发之”“以热引热”,更进一步使瘀血、湿邪排出,补虚泻实,标本兼顾,使肢体机能恢复。

Li Lixia believes that a shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke is manifested as a block of tendons and veins caused by qi-blood de?ciency and phlegm-dampness accumulation,and should be treated by eliminating dampness and resolving phlegm,nourishing and replenishing qi and blood.The Xingnao Qihe Tiaoshu method is characterized by converging all kinds of yang at Bǎihuì (GV20),attaching importance to yang meridians and specific acupoints,etc.,which can warm yang for diuresis.In the method,refreshening the mind pays attention to Haidu of the yang meridians,and opening and closing means to regulate the qi of Yangming,while regulating the pivot aims to activate Shaoyang.The method prioritizes refreshening the mind for resuscitation to promote the qi movement throughout the body,promoting the transformation of fluid-dampness to induce diuresis for removing edema.The Lingnan fire needling therapy is good at “dispelling fire stagnation” and “inducing heat with heat”,further expelling blood stasis and fluids,tonifying deficiency and purging excess,treating both the manifestations and root causes of the disease,so as to restore the limbs functions.
