The Belt and Road Initiative is the most ambitious cultural policy planning and conception in contemporary China.It was put forward at a time when globalization has suffered major setbacks and China’s economic development is facing a series of major challenges.At the same time,it has the characteristics of balancing domestic and international inter-ests,development and security.The realization of any major economic strategic goal requires the corresponding cultural policy planning and conception.Without the corresponding soft power,the complete realization of economic strategic goals is impossible.It is in this sense that the Belt and Road Initiative is of great cultural policy and strategic significance.It is also a large policy system with rich cultural policy contents.As a significant and innovative form of cultural policy,the pro-posal of the Belt and Road Initiative is a major policy agenda setting in the history of China’s contemporary cultural policy,opening a new era in the history of China’s contemporary cultural policy.
