Study on the Appropriateness of Hospitalization Days for Patients with Rectal Cancer

目的 对直肠恶性肿瘤患者的住院日适宜性进行研究,通过分析明确不适宜住院日存在的情况及其产生的原因。方法 使用住院日适宜性评价方案对300名患者的3 142个住院日进行回顾性评价,根据原因表明确不适宜住院日产生的原因并进行单因素分析及多元线性回归分析。结果 不适宜住院日共269天,占总住院日的8.56%;等待手术、等待检查和出院不及时是导致不适宜住院日的主要原因;支付方式等是影响住院日适宜性的危险因素,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 研究样本的不适宜住院日处于较低水平,但部分不适宜住院日可进一步缩减。建议针对不适宜住院日产生的原因,多措并举,提高医院运行效率。

Objective To study the appropriateness of hospitalization days for patients with rectal cancer,and the existence and causes of the inappropriate hospitalization day were clarified.Methods The 3 142 hospitalization days of 300 patients were retrospectively evaluated by using the appropriateness evaluation protocol and clarified the causes of inappropriate hospitalization days according to the reason table,then conducted univariate and logit analysis.Results The number of inappropriate hospitalization days was 269,accounting for 8.56% of the total hospitalization days.Waiting for surgery,waiting for examination and untimely discharge were the main reasons for inappropriate hospitalization days,payment methods and other risk factors that affected the appropriateness of hospitalization days(P<0.05).Conclusion The sample was at a low level,but some inappropriate hospitalization days could be further reduced.It was suggested that multiple measures should be taken to improve the efficiency of hospital operations according to the reasons.
