生态语言学视角下环保公示语的逻辑关系--以合肥市环保公示语为例

Logical Relations in Public Signs on Environmental Protection from an Ecolinguistic Perspective

分析环保公示语的逻辑关系,探讨各种逻辑关系所蕴含的生态意识,旨在帮助人们增强生态意识,改善生态行为。此研究基于何伟、程铭拓展的逻辑关系系统,分析了合肥市环保公示语小句间的逻辑关系。研究发现:无论是嵌入还是并列的逻辑配列关系,合肥市的环保公示语旨在呼吁市民采取实际行动保护环境,符合“多元和谐、交互共生”的生态价值观。从逻辑语义关系来看,环保公示语的扩展关系均缘起于“自然本位”的生态价值观,具有积极的扩展取向,是生态有益性扩展;但由于大多数公示语采用的是“非标记性”逻辑配列顺序和隐性的逻辑表征方式,使得公示语的生态性受到削弱。

An analysis of logical meaning of public signs on environmental protection as well as the ecological ideas conveyed by the logical relations is expected to raise people’s ecological awareness and improve their behavior.This study,on the basis of the logical system extended by He Wei and Cheng Ming,analyzes the logical relations in the public signs on environmental protection in Hefei.It has been found that no matter whether hypotaxis or parataxis applied,the public signs on environmental protection intend to call upon citizens to take actions to protect the environment,agreeing with the ecophilosophy of“Diversity and Harmony,Interaction and Co-existence”.In terms of logical-semantic relations,enhancement outnumbers extension and elaboration,but all the three expansion relations originate from nature-centered ecophilosophy,and therefore embody positive expansion orientation and belong to eco-beneficial expansion.On the other hand,as most public signs on environmental protection employ“unmarked”logical sequence and implicit means of representation,the ecological attributes of those public signs are thereby weakened.
