Construction and Empirical Measure of Virtual Economy Accounting Index System

文章基于虚拟经济的内涵并考虑到与现有统计体系的有效对接,从虚拟经济活动规模和虚拟经济积累程度两个维度构建虚拟经济核算指标体系,并运用这些指标对美国虚拟经济进行实证测度,结果显示,所构建的指标体系能够有效测度美国经济虚拟化程度,不管是从虚拟经济活动规模,还是从虚拟经济积累程度来看,美国经济虚拟化程度不断提高,虚拟经济成为美国的核心经济;进一步从内在基础、内生动力、外部推力等方面分析了经济虚拟化的机制。

Based on the connotation of virtual economy, this paper considers the effective connection with the existing statistical system to construct the accounting index system of the virtual economy from two dimensions of activity scale and accumulation degree of virtual economy, and then uses these indexes to empirically measure the American virtual economy. The results show that the accounting index system constructed in this paper can effectively measure the degree of American economic virtualization, and that either from the activity scale or the accumulation degree of virtual economy, the degree of economic virtualization in the America continues to increase, and the virtual economy becomes the core economy in America. The paper also analyzes the mechanism of economic virtualization from the aspects of internal foundation, endogenous power and external thrust.
