数字经济对城市经济高质量发展影响的实证检验

Empirical Test of the Impact of Digital Economy on the High-quality Development of Urban Economy

数字经济可以通过提升技术创新、互联网普及程度和实体经济水平,进而赋能城市经济高质量发展。文章基于2015—2018年中国288个地级及以上城市的面板数据,构建综合指标体系对城市经济高质量发展水平进行测度,并结合各城市数字经济指数,利用2SLS等估计方法实证研究了数字经济对城市经济高质量发展的影响。结果表明:数字经济能够提高城市经济高质量发展水平,且存在门槛效应;从传导机制来看,数字经济能够通过提升技术创新、互联网普及程度和实体经济水平促进城市经济高质量发展。

The digital economy can enable the high-quality development of urban economy by enhancing technological innovation, Internet popularity and the level of the real economy. Based on the panel data of 288 cities at prefecture-level and above in China from 2015 to 2018, this paper constructs a comprehensive index system to measure the high-quality development level of urban economy, and then combines with the digital economy index of each city and uses 2SLS and other estimation methods to empirically study the impact of digital economy on the high-quality development of urban economy. The results show that digital economy can improve the high-quality development level of urban economy, with a threshold effect. From the perspective of transmission mechanism, digital economy can promote the high-quality development of urban economy by improving technological innovation, Internet popularity and the level of real economy.
