With the development of the times and the social changes,the power industry has developed rapidly.Surveying and mapping technology is a very important part of power engineering.Under the new era and new background,power engineering surveying and mapping technology should be continuously improved to ensure the quality and efficiency of the entire project construction.This paper outlines the necessity of applying power engineering surveying and mapping technology in power engineering construction,briefly describes the surveying and mapping technology currently used in power engineering construction,and proposes methods for applying power engineering surveying and mapping technology to engineering construction,so as to further improve the power engineering surveying and mapping technology,and promote the progress and development of the industry.
