The lifeline of Marxist women’s theory lies in innovation.To advance Marxist women’s theory,we should adhere to the basic tenets of Marxist women’s theory while encouraging innovation;we should combine theory with practice,that is,properly handling the new situations and problems arising from women’s development in China,while applying Marxist women’s theory to steer the trends of women’s development;we should adapt the basic tenets of Marxism to China’s specific realities and its fine traditional culture,and learn from all the achievements of women’s research outside China.
