老城空间更新中关注点及其类型研究——对砖塔胡同更新改造的思考

Research on the Focus and Types in the Space Renewal of the Old City——Thoughts on the Renovation of Brick Pagoda Hutong

老城的街巷空间从发生到发展,均由生活于其间人们的需求而成就。当代老城街巷的空间更新和品质提升,建设的规则与逻辑亦当如此。就北京老城的物质空间而言,其保护与更新从整体到合院有多个层级,各层级涉及到的价值和内涵又存在差异,由此落实到空间更新中所聚焦的关注点就各有侧重,并使得老城空间更新在方法上有了类型乃至流程的差别。北京老城的保护与空间更新,在街巷和合院层级与人群日常生活的对应最为紧密。基于此,在这两个层级的空间更新中,将关注点从硬环境的“器物”转向软环境的“人群”,即从器物空间更新转向对基层居民需求的关注,以延续老城空间在街巷和合院建造上的规则。老城空间保护与更新的层级不同,关注点和类型的多样,利于形成各层级之间的相互协同,以完善老城空间更新的规则逻辑和持续管控。

The streets and alleys of the old city have been created and developed by the needs of people living in them.The space renewal and quality improvement of streets and alleys in contemporary old cities should be the same in the rules and logic of construction.As far as the material space of the old city of Beijing is concerned,its protection and renewal have multiple levels from the whole to the courtyard,and there are differences in the value and connotation involved in each level.Therefore,the focus of attention in the space renewal has different emphases,and the methods and even processes of the Space renewal of the old city are different.The protection and space renewal of the old city of Beijing correspond most closely to the daily life of the people at the street and courtyard levels.Based on this,the space renewal at these two levels will shift the focus from the"artifacts"in the hard environment to the"crowd"in the soft environment,that is,from the space renewal of artifacts to the needs of grass-roots residents,so as to continue the rules of the old city space in the construction of streets and courtyard.The different levels of old city space protection and renewal and the diversity of concerns and types are conducive to the formation of mutual coordination among all levels,so as to improve the rule logic and continuous control of old city space renewal.
