As an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture,the application of traditional patterns in modern product packaging will not only help to improve the aesthetic value of product packaging,but also promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture.This paper first introduces the connotation and artistic characteristics of traditional patterns,then expounds the types of traditional patterns,and finally discusses the application value and innovative application methods of traditional patterns in product packaging design for reference.
