论孙犁对“文人从政”的心灵辩证

On Sun Li’s Spiritual Dialectics of "Literati’s Engaging in Politics"

孙犁自嘲“当不了官”而游离于官场,如果将此看作其“鄙视仕途”,未免以偏概全。对于孙犁来讲,文人是否适宜从政是一个重要的问题。在他的心灵深处,就此反复进行着感悟和辩证思考。孙犁始终保持着强烈的社会责任感,认为“实际的工作”值得认真去做,又认为文人多没有“做官的才能”,自己的性格不适合从政。在对友人的倾诉与追怀中、对时弊的针砭与对蠹简遗篇的解读中,文人从政问题呈现为个体生命与文化意识之间的辩驳。在经历挫折与病痛后,孙犁更加认同将文学载写历史作为践行社会责任的方式。他的文字之所以能够以赤子般的纯粹感性地记录丰富、蕴藉的人民生活,与心灵深处对文人从政的辩证思考不无关系。

If Sun Li’s self-deprecating "unable to be an official" and dissociated from the officialdom is regarded as his "despise official career", it would be partial generalization. For Sun Li, whether literati are suitable for politics is an important issue. In the depths of his heart, he repeatedly comprehends and thinks dialectically. Sun Li has always maintained a strong sense of social responsibility. He believes that "practical work" is worth doing seriously. He also believes that many literati do not have "the ability to be an official", and his character is not suitable for politics. In the talk and recollection of friends, the problem of literati in politics presents as a refutation between individual life and cultural consciousness. After experiencing setbacks and illness, Sun Li more agrees with writing history in literature as a way to practice social responsibility. The reason why his writing can record the rich and profound people’s life with pure sensibility like a child is not unrelated to the dialectical thinking about the literati politics’ s affairs in the depths of his heart.
