金隄等效翻译理论的衍变研究

A Study on the Evolution of Jin Di’s Equivalent Effect Translation Theory

文章从历时角度梳理了金隄等效翻译理论的发展过程,以求动态把握该理论自身思想的衍变。该理论的衍变大致经历了三个阶段:20世纪80年代前的尝试与摸索阶段,20世纪80-90年代的吸收与融合阶段,2000年以后的超越与创新阶段。对该理论发展历程的动态分析,印证了翻译理论与翻译实践互补互促的关系,有助于当下译界认识到“翻译思想与翻译理论如同火花与火炬,前者为随意零散如星的感性认识,后者为成片如柱的系统思想体系”。

This paper diachronically studies the evolution of Jin Di’s equivalent effect translation theory. Jin’s theory has roughly gone through three stages, i.e. the trial and exploration stage before the 1980 s, the absorption and integration stage between the 1980 s and the 1990 s;the transcendence and innovation stage after the year 2000. The dynamic analysis on the development stages of the theory confirms the complementary and mutually reinforcing relationship between translation theory and practice. The study aims to help the current translation circle realize that translation thoughts and translation theory can be compared to spark and torch, respectively sporadic perceptual knowledge and a systematic ideological system.
