“Embracing the World”is one of the valuable historical experiences of the CPC’s century-old struggle.During the period of the New Democratic Revolution,the Party joined the international Communist movement and made great sacrifices and contributions to the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War,inspiring anti-imperialist and anti-feudal movements in Asia,Africa and Latin America.During the period of socialist revolution and construction,the CPC pursued an independent foreign policy of peace and provided assistance to the cause of national liberation in Asia,Africa and Latin America,demonstrating the lofty aspiration of embracing the whole world.In the new period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization,China has made a new judgment on the theme of peace and development in the world,formed a new pattern of all-round and multi-level diplomacy,and greatly promoted China’s exchanges with the rest of the world.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the CPC has put forward the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind,reformed and improved the global governance system,engaged in extensive consultation,joint contribution and shared benefits under the Belt and Road Initiative,and contributed Chinese wisdom,plans and actions to the development of mankind.A review of the CPC’s century-long history of embracing the world will help us better understand that the CPC’s century-long history is not only a relay of efforts to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,but also a history of unremitting efforts for the cause of human progress.
