赣籍进步青年与五四运动

The Progressive Youth of Gan and the May 4th Movement

赣籍进步青年在五四运动中做出突出贡献,他们或是北京五四运动的骨干分子,或是江西地方五四运动积极组织者、参与者。在此之中,赣籍进步青年的性格特质是影响他们行动的重要因素之一。通过与部分其他省籍青年学生对比可见,赣籍进步学生注重直接行动、沉稳克制而又灵活机变的行为风格,与江西独特的地域文化不无关联。他们也自觉接续地方历史传统和责任伦理,为自我塑造的潜在思想资源。但是,来自中心或边缘地区的学生领袖与基层青年,在身份特征、道路选择、人生走向上各有异同。这折射出五四运动绝非一个孤立偶发的事件,而是与作为先锋的青年学生群体之心灵史、生命史紧密交融的综合场域。

Jiangxi progressive youth made outstanding contributions in the May 4th Movement,they were backbone members of the May 4th Movement in Beijing,or local active organizers of the May 4th Movement in Jiangxi,participants,in which,the characteristics of Jiangxi progressive youth should be one of the important factors affecting their actions.Through the comparison with some young students from other provinces,it can be seen that the progressive students from Jiangxi pay attention to direct action,calm restraint and flexible behavior style,which are related to the unique regional culture of Jiangxi.They also consciously continue the local historical tradition and responsibility ethics as a potential ideological resources for self-shaping.However,from a comprehensive view of the progressive student groups in Jiangxi,the student leaders from central or marginal areas and grassroots youth have their own differences and similarities in identity characteristics,road choice and life direction,which reflect the fact that the May 4th Movement is not an isolated incident,but a comprehensive field closely integrated with the spiritual history and life history of the vanguard young students.
